I’ve been designing homes for individuals & families since my early 20s. Back then, many of our clients were also in their 20s. Now, they range from young adults & upwards through several generations.​​

We love this broadening of the generations for whom we design. We design homes that are enduring - where leaving is a decision, not a necessity.

My most valuable learning over the decades has been that the design of beautiful living environments is universal. It spans all ages & capacities, has a social structure, connects with site, landscape, street & community, is climatically appropriate, employs materials & detailing of a relevant scale and nature, & it elevates the everyday rituals of life.

It isn't 'home' for some & 'home-like' for others. If someone lives there, it is home - it is their home.
